In short
- Your profile is never public — not in a directory, not in a search engine. Singles can't browse or search. They only see the profiles we suggest to them.
- Your photos are seen by the people we suggest you to and by the shadchan working on your shidduch — and by anyone with your share link, only if you turn sharing on. It starts off. We strip location data from every photo automatically.
- Your email and phone are shown only to the shadchan handling a shidduch you're part of, so they can reach you. Never to other members.
- Your resume is seen by shadchanim and by the other side of a shidduch — the same people who'd get it in any shidduch.
- Passing is private. No one is ever told you passed on them, and one-way interest is never revealed.
- Delete means deleted — your account, photos, resume and shidduch history, from your account page, any time.
What we collect
The information you give us: your resume, your photos, what you're looking for, your hashkafa, and how to reach you (email and phone). This includes information about your religious background.
How we use it
- To build your profile and suggest people who fit.
- To let a shadchan reach you, with your verified contact details, when both sides are interested.
- To send you account messages, shidduch news and check-in reminders by email.
Who can see your profile
Other members and shadchanim on the platform, and — if you keep your profile shareable — anyone with your share link or QR code. You can make your profile private or pause it at any time.
Your choices
- Pause or hide your profile whenever you like.
- Delete your account and your data from your account page.
- We never sell your data.
Who else touches it
Your data lives on our hosting provider (Render) and our photos on a content-delivery store (Cloudflare R2), with location data stripped from every photo first. The text of a résumé and a profile — never a photo — is read by an AI service (Anthropic's Claude API) to help parse résumés, translate, and rank; under its terms it is not used to train. Notifications go through Apple's push service, and every email through our email provider, Resend. None of them may use your data for anything but that job.
